We moved to Picket Twenty from out of area and quickly realised that it has a thriving community, facilitated by our local community centre which has many events for all, from breakfast mornings, children’s activities such as bouncy castles, pottery painting, gaming room, gym classes, scouts and the occasional bar. We have a number of play parks within walking distance and the large urban park is great for short walks, playing football or learning to ride a bike - plus you walk into Andover through Micheldever Road fairly easily or nip to Starbucks for a morning coffee in the Walworth business park.
We have wonderful neighbours, many of whom had been here since the houses were built. Our road was the original Charles Church Show home Street, in fact the show home was attached to ours and prior to our purchase our home was used as the Charles Church viewing office which came with perks such as our garden was professionally landscaped and is not directly overlooked from behind, our boiler spec is higher than most homes on P20 and Stalls Road feels wider and greener than most roads throughout Picket Twenty.
We have invested in our home with care, our built ins (lounge and hall) were professionally installed, last month we installed a new high spec oven and hob and all rooms are recently decorated. We simply have outgrown the space for our growing family.
