"We loved turning our house into a mid-century dream. With the warm wood ceilings, terrazzo flooring, and pistachio-green bathroom, it’s been a pleasure to live in - cosy, cool, and full of character. Being right by the countryside means we could walk into the fields and look down at the views over Bristol. North Street is only a short drive away for the Sunday market, or we’d head out into the countryside for a drink at our favourite pub, The Druid’s Arms. The garden is a sun trap, which we’ve absolutely loved."
The Home
A modernised and mid-century-styled two-bedroom end-of-terrace home. Downstairs, you’ll find the handmade, bespoke kitchen at the front of the home and terrazzo flooring leading through the hallway to the lounge. Here you’ll find warm wood ceilings (found throughout the downstairs), which have been fully redecorated using Farrow & Ball paint, along with made-to-measure curtains for the sliding patio doors - making the room feel bright and spacious. Living in Whitchurch
Edgefield Close is a quiet residential road in the popular Whitchurch area, made up mostly of terraced houses from the 1930s–50s, with a few modern builds too. What makes this area unique is its mix of city and country living, with easy access to Wells Road (A37) and Airport Road (A4174), taking you into the city or towards North Somerset and beyond.
For those looking for green space, the home is surrounded by it, with the fields of the countryside just a few streets away. Some of Bristol’s favourite parks, including Redcatch Park, Victoria Park, and Callington Road Nature Reserve, are all within easy reach.
