Small parks and green space such as those at Redland Church, Brandon Hill and the university gardens on St Michael’s Hill. The local pubs are all thriving, including The Kingsdown Wine Vaults, The Hare on the Hill, The Hillgrove Porter Stores, the Cotham Porter Stores and The Green Man and the Michelin starred restaurant, the Bulrush, is just round the corner. Caper and Cure, at the bottom of Nine Tree Hill, is another excellent restaurant and there are any number of bars , restaurants and shops on Cotham Hill, Stokes Croft, Gloucester Road, St Michael’s Hill and Whiteladies Road, all within walking distance.
