What Our Vendors Say - We have lived at White Barn in Failand for the past ten years and it has been a wonderful place to bring up our family. It offers a rare balance of feeling immersed in nature while being just minutes from Clifton and the city.
Surrounded by mature trees, the house often feels as though you are living in the forest, with green space and countryside walks right on the doorstep. Our family has spent many happy hours mountain biking in Ashton Court and Leigh Woods, and Sundays were often taken up with rugby at Old Bristolians, which is a stones throw away.
Being so close to Ashton Court has meant easy access to occasions such as the Balloon Fiesta, with balloons often floating directly over the house. Ashton Gate stadium and David Lloyd are also close by. We have enjoyed walking into Clifton in the summer for drinks, heading to Southville for coffee, and visiting local favourites such as The George at Abbots Leigh, The Ashton, and The Bird in Hand.
With two golf courses nearby, affordable junior memberships have been an added bonus. White Barn has been a very special family home, combining space, nature, and excellent access to everything Bristol has to offer.
