We’ve really enjoyed living here. In summer, the kitchen doors open straight onto the garden, which catches the sun from lunchtime into the early evening - perfect for relaxed afternoons outside.
Open fields are just a five-minute walk away, and the marina is close by for coffee and pastries from Mokoko. With North Street and Clifton only a 25-minute drive away, it’s a great location that nicely balances coast, countryside and city.
The home

Living in Brock End
This is a beautifully scenic yet highly convenient place to call home. Residents can enjoy pleasant walks around the vibrant Portishead Marina, or venture further afield towards the peaceful Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve. In the opposite direction, the picturesque Portishead to Clevedon Coast Path offers stunning coastal scenery and longer walking routes.
The Marina itself provides a variety of inviting venues perfect for relaxing or meeting friends, from Mokoko, just minutes from the property, to waterside favourites such as Sydney and Eden and Aqua Spinnaker at the head of the Marina.
Beyond the waterfront, Portishead boasts a bustling High Street with a wide range of shops and amenities, along with the hugely popular Lake Grounds, offering open green space and recreational facilities.
Its well-regarded primary and secondary schools, makes it particularly attractive to families. The town is within easy commuting distance of Bristol city centre and is well positioned for convenient access to the motorway network.
