A quiet residential road, only a few minutes walk to the High Street, with local schools, dog walking routes and playing fields for children all nearby. Heathfield is a market town, still with market days and has a very good selection of local shops, cafés, restaurants and four supermarkets. There are several primary schools and Heathfield Community College which has a bus service but the children tend to walk in groups. There is a regular bus service to Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne and Uckfield. Local main line railway stations are at Stonegate, Buxted, Jarvis Brook (Crowborough) and Uckfield, all a 15/20 minute drive.
