Dating from the middle of the 19th century, Plas Coch strikes a handsome pose indeed, being situated right at the heart of the renowned mountain village of Llanberis at the foot of Wales’s highest mountain Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon whilst surrounded by the high peaks of the Eryri/Snowdonia National Park – as a 4 star rated (Visit Wales) B&B Guesthouse, it is the perfect base for exploring the magnificent landscape situated right on its doorstep.

This superbly appointed B&B premises provides comfortable 8 Bedroomed Guest Accommodation (all En-suite) with separate owners accommodation. The layout and presentation is commendable with modern appointments throughout and a pleasing décor yet there’s much originality too with high coved ceilings, original fireplaces and generously proportioned rooms. Plas Coch comes predominantly double glazed and is served by a gas fired central heating system.

The ground floor welcomes you with its spacious central hallway, generous dining/breakfast room, a useful multi-purpose room (great for parties organising their mountain routes) and an accessible guest bedroom. The owners accommodation resides to the rear and consists of a cosy lounge (with wood burning stove), conservatory, kitchen (catering for domestic and commercial purposes) and utility – owners bedrooms are located above on the first floor. Also for guests use is a boot/drying room and a luxurious bathroom for when a bath soak is the preferred option. Many of the guest rooms enjoy fine views of the surrounding mountains too and each room offers its own merits and individuality. No more is this the case than on the second floor with a dual guest bedroomed roomed family suite and an adjacent bedroom with luxury en-suite – it’s all very nicely thought out and presented.

Complementing the interior is a no-less appealing exterior with plenty of garden space and parking. The layout is such that there is a pillared “in-and-out” dual entrance driveway, adding a little class on your arrival whilst the gardens essentially wrap around the dwelling with the Afon Goch River running along the northern border. The main garden is populated with a whole host of decorative plants, shrubs and flowerbeds, there’s a spacious sheltered patio and numerous raised beds – much of the work carried out by the presents owners.
