Guide Price £500,000 - £525,000. Fantastic 2 bedroom period conversion flat, with a private garden & a great outlook on to some distinctive detached homes that help contribute to the unmistakable charm of the Brockley Conservation Area. In keeping with the character of the area, the property features timber sash windows (double glazed), high ceilings & in my opinion, an airy & spacious feel.
The property is well positioned for easy access to Brockley, St Johns & Lewisham (DLR) Stations giving the owners a choice of Overground, Rail & DLR services.
We asked the sellers to tell us a little bit about their time at the flat - here's what they had to say:
Brockley is a really wonderful part of South East London & we have loved living on Breakspears Road. Located in the heart of the conservation area with its beautiful & quiet tree-lined streets, it's a neighbourhood with a genuine community feel.
The area has lots to offer. We have loved going to Brockley Market on Saturdays, grabbing a coffee from Browns on our way to the overground in the morning & spending our weekends in Hilly Fields - though parkruns have largely been replaced with Saturday morning playground sessions. Brockley has a great mix of independent cafes, bars & restaurants; Joyce is our local wine bar, Good as Gold & Mauby serve delicious food & cocktails, The Talbot is our local pub & we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to good coffee spots. Brockley is also really well connected, with trains, buses, overground & DLR connections a 10-15 min walk away.
We’re embarking on a new adventure in a different part of the country, & will treasure the years we’ve had in the flat & in Brockley.
