Inner Hillside Cottage forms part of a small cluster of cottages by the Sandy Park crossroads, around two miles north of Chagford. This traditional Dartmoor cottages is built of granite beneath a thatch roof and offers characterful accommodation featuring a large granite fireplace with cosy wood-burner, exposed beams and small-paned cottage windows.
It would benefit from some improvement in places and has a south-facing garden with plenty of space to sit out. The cottage would make a perfect bolt-hole for those wishing to explore Dartmoor and is equally suitable as a permanent home.
N.B We undestand that there is at least one area of Flying Freehold.
Sandy Park is a rural crossroads off the A382 close to riverside and country walks. The pretty town of Chagford is just a few minutes by car and has a great range of shops, cafes/restaurants, a post office, primary school, open-air swimming pool and a parish church.
The A30 at Whiddon Down can be reached within a few minutes drive and provides easy access to Exeter and the M5.
