We have enjoyed living in the property for 7 years, having bought the house as newly married first time buyers in 2018. Looking to put our own stamp on the property, we've undertaken projects to modernise the house including increasing the number of electrical sockets to support modern living, a bathroom renovation and landscaping of the rear garden. Our favourite feature of the house is the new garden. This has created an amazing low maintenance garden which has been great for hosting friends and family. The garden benefits from the sun late into the evenings giving us extra outdoor space. The addition of the garden office has created the ideal 'working from home' environment. As we welcomed our son to this home, we rediscovered the local open public spaces - such as Lyndon playing fields, Richmond Road play park, Olton Jubilee Park and Sheldon Country Park. The location of the property has been ideal for commuting to Solihull, Birmingham and Coventry for work. As well as easy access to the motorway for longer journeys to visit friends and family. When we bought the house planning permission had been granted for a large extension to the property. Whilst we didn't take this opportunity to complete the works ourselves, this could be a great project for an ambitious home owner. We have been really happy in this house and are sad to leave the home we created as newlyweds and new parents. This house has been the perfect size and location for our family unit, but the time has come for us to relocate and leave the West Midlands. I hope the next owners will enjoy living here as much as we have.
