We asked the owner about her parents property and she was kind enough to provide us with this personal insight  

1. Our parents were attracted to the property because of its location - it's within walking distance of a railway station, a GP, a small Sainsburys and a bus stop. There are four large supermarkets in short driving distance - Tesco, Waitrose, Morrisons and Lidl, multiple petrol stations, a sports hall and a cricket pitch (my Dad played cricket into his 70s and then umpired).

2. My parents added a small extension to the master bedroom and added the conservatory. We have just replaced the kitchen and decorated throughout.

3. Aside from the brilliant location, it's a very friendly road, they had many good neighbours over the years. Dad was always outside chatting to his neighbours as he worked on his front garden. 

Location

The property is situated in a convenient location which gives easy access to both senior and junior schooling and the main line rail service is within walking distance with trains to London in about one hour. The town centre of Crowborough offers a wide selection of good shopping facilities, including supermarkets and good recreational facilities including the Crowborough Leisure Centre with indoor swimming pool, Crowborough Beacon Golf Course and the Boars Head Golf and Driving Range, together with the Crowborough Tennis & Squash Club.
