Owners Comments….

We moved into 9 Guernsey Place in May 2020, newly engaged and amidst the Covid pandemic. This house quickly became our home, and we instantly connected with the neighborhood. Nearly six years later, we’re amazed at how fast the time has passed.

This home has seen us bring our miniature dachshund puppy, celebrate our wedding, and create countless happy memories. It’s been perfect for hosting gatherings, BBQs, and enjoying sunny summer evenings, especially with the extended patio we added.

Being close to local amenities has been a huge benefit—dog walks to the nearby bakery, quick dinners from the well-stocked garage, and an easy commute to both Reading and Wokingham for work. The double garage offers great storage potential and could easily be converted into a studio, gym, or office. The large second bedroom has hosted family and friends, providing ample space for everyone.

While we’ve loved our time here, we’re ready to expand our family and need more room to grow. We hope the next owners will love this home as much as we have!

Guernsey Place is within the popular Orchard Rise development and the thing that we love about this spot in particular is the amount of green space, with an abundance of walks to enjoy on your doorstep. Three Mile Cross has local amenities including The Swan pub and a handy Budgens just a short walk away and you're not too far from either Shinfield or Lower Earley offering further amenities and pubs. Not forgetting the transport links you have from here too, with easy access out to the M4 or A33, Mereoak Park and Ride giving easy access into Reading town or the new Green Park Railway line giving you easy train links onto London too, making this great for families or people looking to commute.
