Sitting beside their summer house in the warmth of the afternoon sunshine, The owners agree their Shenley Church End house has made the perfect family home for the past 19 years. They were initially enticed by the property because of its exceptional location. “We had two young daughters at the time and it was great for schools,” She recalls. “It was on a corner plot that was not overlooked and we liked the fact the road was a cul-de-sac and it was a very leafy area. There was also lots of parking on the street.” The couple walked round the house and could immediately see how they wished to put their own stamp on it. “It has been a lot of work but now this is a fantastic family house and we will miss all the space we have here when we leave,” she adds.
