The property was originally two barns for the neighbouring Home Farm, and the vendors originally owned the whole property. The two storey barn was given its own Grade listing in February 1984 and is described as of “rubblestone with quarter hipped old tile roof.” In 2010 remedial work was required to stabilise the walls of the larger barn and the vendors decided to convert both barns into a self contained dwelling at the same time as remedial work was undertaken.
