Like many rivers, the Severn is susceptible to flooding, particularly during the winter months. However, the current owners have implemented several significant measures to mitigate this risk, all of which have proven successful. These include a raised wall at the front of the cottage, a fully tanked ground floor impervious to water, and a flood gate at the rear of the property. These preventative measures offer peace of mind for the new owner.
