Plas Tan y Graig is a splendid example of a 3 Storey Detached Victorian Guest House, having been expertly renovated and modernised in recent years by the present owners, providing comfortable accommodation that’s functional, practical and most pleasing on the eye, and in term of its guest house status, it’s certainly worthy of your attention. This fine dwelling occupies a prominent central position within the picturesque village of Beddgelert in the heart of the Eryri National Park, overlooking the famous Aberglaslyn Gorge and mountain peak of Moel Hebog, providing no shortage of stunning scenery. Being able to sit back on the spacious terrace watching the world go by must surely be a highlight. The accommodation offers 7 guest bedrooms, all complete with modern bathroom/en-suite facilities in addition to a communal guest lounge and dining room. The property also has self-contained owner’s accommodation, comprising a spacious south facing lounge with wood burning stove and large bay window overlooking the river, dining room, bedroom, and separate shower room.
It should be noted that the present owners have expended a great deal of time and effort in re-configuring the ground floor layout to best suit visiting guests whilst improving the owners accommodation as well as the main entrance hall. Guests now enjoy a dining room which overlooks the river and the additional of a wood burning stove to the lounge creates a real cosy feel. The owners layout is now more open-plan, creating a lovely sense of light and space whilst offering a homely feel. Copious use of wood flooring now adorns all of the above rooms, including the entrance hall. The utility room has been enlarged somewhat to accommodate a WC and wash basin and the owners shower room has been renewed with a contemporary suite.
