The property is entered at the front into an inner hallway with access to a utility room and cloakroom/wc. There is an external door to the side of the property making this a perfect boot room. From here there is a good sized kitchen which is part open onto a dining room. The dining room itself is charming and has sliding doors to the rear gardens, a feature stain glass window (by Cornish artist Jo Downs) and also houses the staircase to the first floor. The ground floor also boasts a very generously sized sitting room, with feature log burner, and double wooden door that opens onto the conservatory. The conservatory completes the ground floor and is a wonderful spot to enjoy the south facing gardens all year round!
There is a spacious landing on the first floor from which we can access the three bedrooms, all of which offer a pleasant outlook over the aforementioned countryside! A family bathroom completes this floor. The property also benefits from solar panels which generates between £600 - £700 per annum.
To the rear, there is a lovely enclosed garden with access to the fields behind. A fine array of mature flower and shrub borders, good sized patio area and which is perfect for enjoying the south facing sun, and a level lawned area too. To the front of the house there is a further seating area, feature pond and a series of raised vegetable beds too. There is also ample off street car parking for multiple vehicles.
Our vendor says... A wonderful house in a peaceful countryside location. The south facing garden is a beautiful place to relax and leads to many walks from the doorstep. The house has lots of space - we have loved the conservatory in the summer and the log burner in the winter! It has been a perfect family home for us, set in a lovely friendly village.
