In the vendors own words
1. The location was perfect - in a beautifully presented cul de sac, just a short walk to the village shops, with a nice vibe and friendly neighbours. The house itself was a nice size and layout, I loved the sunny rear garden, and lots of storage space!
2. I refreshed absolutely everything - new kitchen, new bathroom, new flooring throughout, all fully painted and redecorated, a new garden patio area - plus I added a couple of downstairs extensions, building a playroom (adding internal access to the garage) and extending the lounge (adding a nice big window for even more light and a hole-in-the-wall fire).
3. It's not just a house, it's a home. The downstairs layout is just perfect for hosting friends and family gatherings, everyone who visits seems to comment on how much they love the house and area. The rear of the house gets so much sun, even in the winter it's lovely sitting in the back room and feeling the warmth of the sun through the windows. The neighbourhood is so quiet and friendly, it's nice to stop for a chat with the neighbours. And nature is on your doorstep, with endless miles of walks straight from the front door. And, finally, it's surprisingly practical - it's a short 10 minute drive to Tonbridge Station, making commuting to London easier than you would think.
