White Rose Cottage is formerly three farm workers’ cottages having been converted to a single family dwelling with additions over the years, and has been home to the current custodians for over 40 years.
The property is of traditional brick construction with tile hung first floor elevation and slate roof, with the accommodation set across two floors. To the ground floor is an entrance hall, snug/library, family room, sitting room, kitchen open plan to dining room, office and cloak room. To the first floor are five bedrooms, two with en suite bathrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom is a particular feature enjoying uninterrupted views across the valley and beyond.
There is also a large attic, part-boarded and with natural light via skylight and window, which subject to any necessary planning consent(s) could provide further accommodation.
Outside the gardens to the rear are bordered by mature hedging, with an expanse of lawn, areas of seasonal planting, fruit trees, walnut and mulberry trees, and an area to the back of the garden which once hosted a vegetable garden.
To the front is a pretty cottage garden full of blooming rose bushes and other traditional planting, along with an area of parking to the side for a number of cars.
