“My Great-Grandmother gave this land to my father as a wedding present and the house was built by my parents in the late 50’s. Growing up here was an idyllic childhood with plenty of places to explore on our bikes and lots of trees to climb and dens to make. The garden is a key strength, as a child I don’t remember my mother shopping for groceries – we had fresh vegetables straight from the garden to the kitchen table, so mealtimes were happy and healthy. Some neighbours have chickens and ducks too which is a lovely way for children to learn about nature alongside the freshest eggs for breakfast.
