Despite its rural position Luppitt still enjoys easy access to the surrounding districts and main routes of communication, with the busy market town of Honiton lying some 5 miles to the south providing a good range of everyday shopping, banking, recreational and educational services, including primary and secondary schooling. Honiton also provides access to the A30/A303 Exeter/London trunk route and main line rail connections to London (Waterloo).
