This house has been a great place for us to build a family, it is nicely tucked away in a small gated cul-de-sac.
We were first attracted to the property due to its location and privacy. With no through traffic the road is very safe for young children to play outside.
Our home is surrounded by friendly and welcoming neighbours, we have made some life long friends whilst living here. We often come together for street celebrations for example the jubilee and coronation.
The house is close to everything you need with local amenities and access to the M4 and our children have flourished at the local infant and junior schools.
We are fortune enough to have three side by side parking spaces at the front of the property which is a great benefit for a growing family. We also have rear access to the footpaths that lead into rural parts of Shinfield, great for walking the dog or going for a stroll.
Having been here nearly 8 years, we will be really sad to leave!

Oatlands Chase is such a popular little cul-de-sac within Shinfield, so close to all your wants and needs yet nicely tucked away with a great community feel.
There's excellent access to J11 of the M4 or out onto the A33, as well as being on the doorstep of plenty of parks, playgrounds, and dog walking spots. The well-known Shinfield Arms pub is a casual 10 minute stroll away while Reading Town Center is less than 15 minutes away in the car and you have all your hand amenities within the village itself with the Co-Op, Post office and bus links into town too.
Green Park Business Park is not too far from here which also now has the recent train station, giving you easy access into London and making this home perfect for families and people needing to commute.

Built circa 2011 by Maultway Homes and presented in show home condition throughout is this awesome family home. The location feels very exclusive, and the renovations the current owners have done have kept this place looking like a show home! We absolutely love the outdoor entertaining space as well, it creates a new reception area for those summer months and we know a lot of people are after this sort of thing.
One thing you notice as soon as your walk in is the amount of natural light that floods through this home, with the clever use of modern glass doors downstairs too.
The space upstairs is perfect for a family home with spacious and fairly evenly sized rooms for the children and the main bedroom fitting a very large bed comfortably, with fitted storage and the en-suite.
