Location
Stockton on the Forest lies about four miles north east of York City centre which is about a ten minute journey, with a village hall, church, pub, garage, primary school (Ofsted Good 2018), pre-school nursery, scout hut, children’s play area, village shop, golf club and garden centre. York railway station has regular services to major cities including Manchester, Edinburgh and London with some journeys taking less than two hours to Kings Cross.
The village allows for quick easy access to York, the A64 is about two miles away it is about five minutes to the outer ring road to Scarborough and west to Leeds and the A1M for the wider motorway network.
